Most of you that know me, know that climbing is my life. Ever since I went climbing for the first time when I was 14, I’ve never looked back. When I left school I moved to Bristol and got a job as a member of counter staff at The Bristol Climbing Centre. Over the years I have worked my way up and I am now currently the Centre Manager. This involves mainly; managing staff, organising and managing the route setting, planning events and competitions, maintenance of the centre and generally the day-to-day running of the centre. My other role in the centre is head coach for the Undercover Rock Youth squad. This is a team of young keen climbers who want to push themselves. Not only do they compete on a national scale, but with a bit of help from me and the other coaches (Henry Castle, Steve Winslow and Matt Cox) they love to get outside on the real stuff.
For those of you that don’t know me. I’m a lively character who’s pretty much up for anything. I have two crazy Labradors called Baxter and Archie and I am married to the very beautiful Heather Ogston. I’m very into music, I like all sorts of different genres. I started DJ ing for a hobby a few years ago and got into that through Psy trance. From there I moved onto Elecro and Breaks and more recently I’ve been taken by DnB and Dubstep. I also love going on trips. If im not working, I normally spend most of my weekends away climbing. I’m very passionate about what I do…God knows where I would be without climbing! Well that’s about if for now.
